Engaging Senior Residences Centers

We seek to offer residents a complete, healthy lifestyle. So, every one of our communities has a full-time social director. Who oversees the planning and scheduling of activities and events that are available seven days a week, not just Monday through Friday.

Residents can take part in these activities and events, which include:

• “Every Day is Special”: Daily activities based on unique fun facts for the day
• Happy Hour: Weekly events featuring hot hors d’oeuvres and entertainment
• Special: Monthly dinners planned around fun themes

Pet Friendly Communities

Benton House won a national Innovation award for a pilot program using specially trained dogs to detect COVID. Now that testing is widely available, these dogs have naturally transitioned into traditional house dogs. The love and therapy they provide is still an incredible service.

Our residents are welcome and encouraged to have pets too. The Benton House family already has a variety of cats, dogs, fish, and birds.

There are a few requirements, like a one-time fee for carpet replacement after an apartment transfer. Residents must be able to care for their pet. The pet must be community living appropriate and people friendly. And we have some size restrictions.

That said, the companionship pets provide is a blessing and most become mascots by default.
