Pet-Friendly Solutions

Benton House is proud to be pet-friendly!

In fact, we love animals so much that several of our communities have house dogs and we are planning for more puppies in the future. We call it our Benton Doodle Program.

Benton House won a national Innovation Award for a pilot program using specially trained dogs to detect COVID. Of course, these dogs have transitioned to traditional house dogs with testing widely available. But the love and therapy they offer is an incredible service.

Residents are welcome and encouraged to have pets too!

There are some requirements like a one-time fee for pets. Residents must be able to care for their pet. We have size restrictions—sorry, no elephants. And pets must be community living appropriate and people friendly.

With all that said. Pets make an incredible part of our communities. The companionship they offer is a blessing and most become mascots by default.

Our family already has a variety of cats, dogs, fish, and birds.
