Benton House wants to help as many families find the support they need.

So, we leverage our experience and resources to determine the needs of senior family members and explore all options.

Caregivers can take advantage of our resources to identify and mitigate the effects of burnout. We also offer a caregiver review and workbook that identifies the five biggest challenges seniors face. Our team helps caregivers complete the workbook, which equips them with 12 simple tools they can use to evaluate and plan for current needs and future changes.

Those seeking support within our communities can benefit from services like:

• Adult Day Program: We welcome guests into our warm, caring atmosphere. This program is offered in half and full days
• Respite Program: Senior family members can become a temporary Benton House resident and benefit from everything we offer
• Memory Care: Developed with passion and purpose, the Beacon Neighborhood is dedicated to serving those experiencing Alzheimer’s Disease and other memory loss
• Assisted Living: Residents enjoy an ideal balance of independence and support

Personalized Support

Our care is as unique as our residents.

We begin by taking the time to get to know our residents. Not just as our residents, but as a person. Where we welcome them into our family and learn their needs. Through this process, we develop a plan of care that is tailored to meet the needs of each resident.

So, while residents receive comprehensive support, they also enjoy as much independence as possible. Care services can include:

• Bathing: We designed our services to support independence and services range from preparing bath items to dignified personal assistance
• Sensory Aids: Our team can help with the maintenance and cleaning of hearing aids, glasses, and other sensory support devices
• Grooming: To help residents look and feel their best, services include areas important to self-esteem, like hair, nail, and oral care
• Dressing: Services can be as simple as a hard-to-reach button or as comprehensive as wardrobe selection and assistance dressing

Benton House residents do not have to choose between a lifestyle and the services they need to get the most out of living.

Activities with Friends

Every one of our elder care facilities has a full-time social director. They oversee the planning and scheduling of a variety of activities and events. Residents can take part in any event with their friends.

Events are available seven days a week and include:

• “Every Day is Special”: Daily events based on unique fun facts for the day
• Happy Hour: Weekly events featuring hot hors d’oeuvres and entertainment
• Special: Monthly dinners designed around fun themes
• Fitness: Residents have daily choices of walking clubs and exercise classes
