The neighborhood’s design is an important element to our service philosophy. With fewer apartments, each neighborhood is large enough to have a community feel, yet not so large that it feels overwhelming.
With its open design, the Beacon Neighborhood feels spacious. But offers residents the reassurance of seeing others around if help is needed.
Residents also enjoy access to an outdoor courtyard where they can enjoy things like gardening, walks, and relaxing in their favorite rocking chair.
A special calendar guides life approach within the neighborhood. Which blends familiar routines and unique events, all designed to celebrate ability rather than focusing on loss.
Residents enjoy aspects of daily living like dining, fitness, or relaxation at roughly the same time every day. Within those time periods, we seek to vary their activities and events. This way, each day feels both familiar and fresh.
Other hallmarks of the Beacon Neighborhood include increased staffing ratios and a dedicated coordinator. To ensure residents have everything they need.
