  • They would be completely satisfied with the community. They are some great options around, but I like Benton Village.
  • I was very reluctant to move my loved one to assisted living. I waited until I was at my wits end and couldn’t manage it on my own any longer. What I expected to be a traumatic transition was the exact opposite. My loved one was content and happy there from day one! Since then the care has been top notch so much so that I no longer live worrying about all the things that could go wrong as I did for over two years when they lived with me. Thank you Benton House for giving me my life back and for giving my loved one the means to be their best self.
  • Before my parents moved in Benton House, they lived in their own home. Mom was in the early phase of dementia and could no longer cook and dad could not cook anything. I was getting close to ret so I was going over and cooking dinner for them in the evenings and my wife and I and brother and sister-in-law would cook week end meals. My brother would take care of getting all of their medications ready for the week and my dad would make sure that mom took all of her med’s. My brother and I also shared taking care of dad’s yard. So between all our full time jobs, taking care of our own homes as well as taking care of mom and dad and their home…. were tired. We were very fortunate that they told us that it was time to sell the house and move into Assisted Living, so we did not that battle to fight. We found Benton House, Mom and Dad absolutely love it , and my entire family now have the peace of mind of knowing that they are being cared for 24/7/365 by a professional staff who truly care for them. Them moving into Benton House has been a godsend.
  • If you are looking for a smaller, home town feeling, Benton House is your place! They don’t have to worry about making sure 2 thousand people get fed on time. Everyone at Benton House picks up the slack if someone is I’ll or maybe they transfer. The moment I took my mom in this facility, I knew she was home. Residents and employees are treated with dignity as well as loved ones! It pays to do your homework! Go visit facilities, ask the residents how they like it! Look in the corners for dirt! Under their beds for dirt. Check out the kitchen! Do this everywhere you go. Then either go back to Benton House or see it first time. Ask questions! Ask any staff member a question! I promise, this facility is so far above all the rest, you just know it when you see it. Oh lastly, if your loved one has to go to the secured unit, the standards do not change. My hats off to Everyone at Benton House of Raymore.
  • Like I have said to everyone that I talk to or with about the Benton House. I can’t express enough appreciation on all that they do for my love one at the Benton House. They are not just care givers, they have become a family member to our family.
  • When I moved into Benton House my piano did not fit in my room. One day Luis and Howard (Maintenance and Chef) Surprised me with a piano that did fit. I was so happy and offered them some money and their reply was its a gift from Benton House called Moments of Joy. I felt a little guilty but not much. JAJA But boy was it a Moment of Joy.
  • My mother (96 years old) was living alone after my father died. It became evident, after a couple of bad falls, that it was no longer safe for her to live alone. My brother and I took her to tour a facility near his house in Newton County and Benton House which is very close to my home. As soon as we walked into the lobby of Benton House, I knew we had found her new home. She really loved it as well. Since she moved into her apartment almost a year ago, we all have come to view the staff and other residents as family. Moving my mother to Benton House was one of the best decisions our family has made.
  • I first came to The Garden House to receive therapy in December of 2014 following a hip replacement. I was only here for 2 months and decided I was ready to go back home, and would be fine, but told the director I will be back when I need the care. Two years later in 2016 I returned to live permanently and have been happy and pleased with my decision ever since.
  • Benton House of Tiffany Springs is the best choice for your loved ones. Our dad gets superior care, and is happy. It’s a beautiful facility, the staff is super friendly and become like family.
  • My family toured other facilities and did call interviews with some other facilities. My family believed Benton House to be the best to meet my needs. It has a pleasant atmosphere, very caring workers, and numerous interesting activities. The staff and residents are pleasant and care about one another, almost like family.
  • Benton village is more than you ever thought it would be. Considering that another facility opened with lower rates nearby, I chose to stay here. This is my home and I don’t want to leave. This is the place where we laugh and cry. More importantly we have each other.
  • The Benton House employees are very kind to and respectful of the residents. They plan fun events for the residents and plan two to three bigger events every month to include families. Plus they go all out when they plan special events: decorations, staff where themed outfits, entertainment, and more! They went the extra mile when helping our family transition our mother from assisted living to memory care. I highly recommend Benton House!

  • Benton House of Port Orange has been the biggest blessing for me and my family. Knowing that my mom is well-cared for, all the staff are so kind and caring, the food is good and my mom could not be happier anywhere else. She LOVES Benton and her many sweet friends there. They are all like my family as well!
  • Benton House is bright and homey! The staff is always engaging and friendly, and you can clearly see they each take a personal interest in the residents. The rooms are spacious and open, and they feel nothing like a hospital or hotel room. When I say bright, I mean light and open. A lot of other facilities I looked at felt heavy and dark, not metaphorically speaking. Benton House has large windows throughout all the common areas and the residents rooms, and I really think that makes a difference in the energy. There are multiple activities planned every day of the week, and the staff always does such a great job with decorations.

  • This a great place for your family member who needs care. The apartments are very nice. They can be decorated however one likes. People feel safe here. No worries about anyone stealing anything. The staff delivers plenty of hugs and lots of help.

The notification process was always prompt if there was an issue. The memory care units were set up for maximum enjoyment and resident care. I have visited all of the local assisted living/memory care facilities in the area and I can honestly say that Benton House is the BEST! It has given me a great sense of comfort and well-being knowing my Mom is at Benton House of Grayson. Kudos to management and staff.
  • I am so grateful that our family found Benton House of Aiken. My mother is happy and incredibly well-cared for. They make her feel valuable and safe, and being there allows her to maintain her independence while still getting help with the things she can no longer do for herself. She knows that at any moment she can live with her children, but she prefers to have her autonomy and spend regular time with people her age. She also really appreciates how many activities they have and the quality of the medical care she receives. I wish every elderly person could have the choice of living in a place like Benton House.

She has a beautiful apartment with a patio so she can grow flowers and tomatoes, and she enjoys the many activities planned for the residents. Another plus is the park that’s right next door, for those who enjoy walking. It’s the perfect size – big enough to offer lots of activities, yet small enough that I feel the staff really knows the residents. I definitely would recommend Benton House of Lenexa!

  • Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE gives their all when it comes to taking care of their residents AND family. Every time I visit my mother, I am greeted with a smile, an inquiry on how I’m doing, and by name. I am always informed of anything that is going on with my mother in a respectful and honest manner. My mother has advancing dementia, and everyone does their absolute best to make sure she’s taken care of whether she’s having a good day or bad day. Hats off to everyone in the Memory Care Unit for going above and beyond every day with every resident!

  • My sister has been in 5 previous homes over 20 yrs —Benton House is by far the cleanest , most welcoming environment. It’s obvious the staff cares about the residents. I do feel they go above and beyond to address any issue we have it’s a place you can enjoy visiting your loved one.

  • When I was searching for a place for my mother, the first thing I noticed about Benton House was how different it was from other Assisted Living facilities. There’s no boring green space surrounding it. I know it’s considered a luxury but it had an isolating feel to it. Instead, there’s life going on around Benton House of Clermont, thanks to John’s Lake Landing. And when you step inside, there’s a welcoming and bright vibe due to plenty of natural light, high ceilings, and music being played. The rooms are superior even though some other places had larger ones. Big windows facing the surrounding neighborhood, lots of closet space, and PORCHES. Porches! I have brought visitors who have family in Assisted Living in other states & the first thing they say besides how pretty it is, is that there’s no odor. I think that’s saying a lot about the staff’s attention to detail.
  • Benton House is a very nice home for my family member. It always has flowers on the meal tables and all common areas are wonderful.
